I am a P1 Companion Animal TTouch Practitioner, and I’m a Clinical Canine Massage Therapist based in the West Midlands, specialising in consent-based treatments for dogs with orthopaedic and soft tissue injuries. I am trained in four disciplines of massage, focusing on chronic pain management using Swedish, Sports, Deep Tissue, and Myofascial Release techniques.
My qualifications include a Graduate Diploma (Level 6) in Animal Behaviour (GDipABM), and I also work as an Internal Quality Assurance assessor (IQA) for Canine Principles.
Beyond my clinical practice, I am the webinar presenter for the International Canine Behaviourists (ICB) and the International Institute for Canine Ethics (IICE). I hold professional memberships with the Canine Massage Guild, International Association of Animal Therapists (IAAT), The British Isles TTouch Guild, and I am an approved professional with Kids Around Dogs (KAD).
My interest in TTouch began when I met Senior TTouch Practitioner Julie Sadler from the TTouch Greyhound Training Club, who later became my TTouch Mentor. I became a certified TTouch P1 Practitioner in 2019, and over the years, I have assisted in numerous TTouch workshops and events. TTouch now plays a crucial role in my clinical therapy practice, particularly in helping touch-sensitive clients gain confidence with physical contact.
I share my life with four wonderful Hungarian Vizslas: Erik, Midge, Kelly, and Hank.
I dedicated two years of study under Natalie Lenton at the Canine Massage Therapy Centre to complete my vocational training to become a Clinical Canine Massage Therapist.
Currently, I offer in-person massage sessions and Tellington TTouch consultations.
